Bill Jackson

Bill Jackson was an artifact authenticator associated with Jackson Galleries and was active in the field of prehistoric and ancient artifact evaluation beginning in 1989. He was known for applying a non-destructive examination approach referred to as Post-Depositional Surface Modification (PDSM), which focused on microscopic and environmental surface changes that occur to materials over time. His work involved the study of a wide range of artifact types, including Native American prehistoric materials as well as objects from other ancient cultures.
